Couer d`Issy is a 149 metre tall tower, just 100cm short of skyscraper status, that is proposed for Issy, a suburb just south of the centre of Paris.

The scheme is part of a major project of rebuilding the area with a new landscaped park over 200 metres long, a 33,000 square metre commercial centre and an auditorium of 1,000 seats.

Coming from the pen of Jacques Ferrier, the 62,000 square metre tower itself will have a roughly triangular footprint with curving corners giving it a softer shape. The aesthetics are dominated by an external white diagrid that wraps around almost the entire body defining the outline of the towers form.

At ground level the floors are deeply recessed behind the diagrid expanding the public area under the footprint of the upper floors. Above the lowest four floors detail is added to the cladding in the form of louvres the majority of which will be white. A blend of green, blue and yellow adds a touch of colour to the scheme.
