ANAKATA FEST 23, a prestigious annual architecture festival in Indonesia, has concluded the year-end by spotlighting 11 architects in a celebration of nostalgic architecture.

Dividing from conventional architectural events, this architecture festival delighted the interest of numerous architecture professionals across various age groups to attend and engage themselves in insightful discussions, exploring how architecture can revive the sweet moments encapsulated in every space.

Located in the heart of Bintaro's central business district at Titan Center, South Tangerang, ANAKATA FEST 23 unfolded as a one-day architectural extravaganza. The festival's unique approach saw the eleven speakers dispersed across three distinct conference areas, simultaneously and alternately sharing their perspectives on nostalgic architecture.

Takaharu Tezuka of Tezuka Architects, Antonius Richard from RAD+ar, Gregorius Supie Yolodi & Maria Rosantina from d-associates, Patcharada Inplang from Shermaker, and Robert Veriitj from Architecture BRIO, graced the M Area with their enlightening presentations.

In a more intimate setting within the X Area, three emerging Indonesian architects, Dhanie Syawalia & Salman Rimaldhi from Dhanie & Sal, Kamil Muhammad from PPPOOOLLL, and Raynaldo Theodore from ARTI Design Studio, shared their insights.

Adjacent to them in the Y Area, Kelvin Thengono from K-Thengono Design Studio, Takashi Niwa from Takashi Niwa Architects, father and son duo Hadi Vincent and Dion Pradipta from HADIVINCENT Architects contributed their diverse perspectives on architectural nostalgia.

Despite its brief duration, ANAKATA FEST 23 remarkably delivered a profound experience, relieving light on architecture's pivotal role in preserving and renewing meaningful life moments. 

The festival served as a vibrant platform for fostering interaction between seasoned architects and designers, leaving a lasting impact on understanding architecture's profound significance.
