The International Union of Architects (UIA) has announced the extension of the deadline for nominations for the 2021 UIA Gold Medal and Prizes to 12 April.

The international jury for the 2021 UIA Triennial Gold Medal and Prizes includes Eva Jiricna (Czech Republic/UK), Kai-Uwe Bergmann (USA/Denmark), Victor Leonel (Angola), President of the Africa Union of Architects (AUA),  Nadia Somekh (Brazil), Presidente Conselho de Arquitetura e Urbanismo do Brasil (CAU) and UIA President Thomas Vonier (USA). It will meet virtually.

The winners of the 2021 UIA Gold Medal and Prizes will be rewarded during an online awards ceremony held during the UIA2021RIO Congress in July.

Only Member Sections and UIA elected officials may nominate candidates. Please note that the platform will be inaccessible (for maintenance) on 11 April.
