World Architecture Community team is proud to announce the winners of 10+5+X WA Awards 30th Cycle. Once again, we have 41 winning projects from 21 different countries with a fantastic mix of building types, spanning from Turkey to India, from Italy to France from Australia to Brazil. In short, the winning countries can be listed as: South Korea, Brazil, China, Italy, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, India, Macau, France, Turkey, Iran, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, Romania, Canada, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Burkina Faso, Philippines, Bahrain.
In the 30th Cycle, Zaha Hadid Architects has broken a record with 4 winning projects, including Nanjing International Youth Cultural Center in China, Generali Tower in Italy, 520 West 28th in the United States and Morpheus Hotel in Macau, which were all selected by the votes of Honorary Members and Winners of Preview Cycles. Nanjing International Youth Cultural Center was also selected democratically, through the ratings of community members.
Alongside ZHA, Ian Ritchie Architects' Royal Academy Of Music - Theatre And New Recital Hall in the United Kingdom, Gianni Ranaulo Design's The Village in France, Group GSA's Huangyao Ancient Town Resort in China, Sanjay Puri's Convention Centre 99 in India are among winners.
In the Student category, among other great projects, Darcy Engle’s Approaching Sanitation: A Typological Response to the Study of Sanitation Infrastructure in Delhi, Levent Arıdağ's Adaptive Cave from Turkey, Christopher Weimann's Marvelous Mundane: A Kinesthetic Montage from Hong Kong are among the winners selected by the votes of Honorary Members and Winners of Previous Cycles.
