2022 Asia Pacific Architecture Festival will be held from 12 to 25 March in Brisbane

The 2022 Asia Pacific Architecture Festival delivers an exciting and thought-provoking program of exhibitions, installations, symposia, lectures and workshops, promoting and celebrating architecture’s pivotal role in the culture, sustainability and economy of the Asia Pacific region.

The 2022 Curators of the event are Christina Cho, the director of Cox Architecture and Georgia Birks, an associate editor at Architecture Media.

The event features a programme of exhibitions, installations, symposia, lectures and workshops, celebrating architecture’s contribution to the culture, sustainability and economy of the Asia Pacific region.

This year's theme for the Architecture Symposium is "Co-operate, co-design, co-exist". The event will be held between 12-25 March, 2022 in Brisbane, Australia

Presented by Architecture Media as part of the Design Speaks series, the symposium looks beyond Australian shores to the broader Asia Pacific region. The organizers consider how architects and designers can leverage the myriad opportunities of working collectively – with other built environment professionals as well as with those working outside the industry.

Held at the State Library of Queensland on Friday 18 March, the program includes nine speakers from the Asia Pacific region and will conclude with closing drinks on the Queensland Terrace.

Tickets are limited. If public gatherings are restricted, the event will be delivered virtually, with ticket prices reduced by $100 per person.

Luke Hayward of Atelier Luke, Elisapeta Heta of Jasmax, Benjee Mendoza of BAAD Studio, Bangladeshi architect Marina Tabassum of Marina Tabassum Architects are among speakers at the 2022 Asia Pacific Architecture Festival.
