Javad Eiraji appointed as WAC's Iran Reporter

Since July 14, 2018

Javad Eiraji has been appointed as Iran's Country Reporter, as part of the WAC's Country Editors/Reporters program. Javad Eiraji was born in Iran, he is Assistant Professor and currently working as the Head of Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Hashtgerd Branch, at Islamic Azad University, Hashtgerd, Iran. Eiraji is also the CEO and Creator of Studio Eiraji (Design and Creation Studio Based in Tehran), Poonak, Tehran, Iran. Eiraji's more than 20 papers were published in different professional journals. He delivered 15 scientific lectures in different international conferences and in different countries such as Austria, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Malaysia, Netherland, China and Iran.

Eiraji's researches focus on the Tradition and Modernity in Architecture, Design Bases, Sustainability and Energy, Fractal-Modular and Parametric Architecture, New Technologies in Architecture, Islamic Architecture. He won the Best Design Award for Commercial Buildings in Re-thinking the Future-IDSA2016 Architecture Awards and his paper won the Best Paper Award in ICHSC International Conference.
