While still witnessing the impacts of the coronavirus around the world, three major organizations have postponed their upcoming events to 2021, which includes London Design Biennale, London Design Fair and Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) in London, United Kingdom.
London Design Biennale, which was originally planned to be held between 8-27 September, it will now take place in June 2021. New dates of London Design Fair, which was set to be scheduled as part of London Design Festival between 12-20 September, have not yet been announced.
London Design Fair is going to be held in September 2021. Clerkenwell Design Week, showcasing leading UK and international brands presented in a series of showroom events, exhibitions and special installations, was originally scheduled for 19-21 May but it will now take place from 25 to 27 May 2021.

"The countries, cities and territories in our international network are core to our mission," said Victoria Broackes, Director of London Design Biennale.
"Keeping our visitors and designers safe remains our priority and given the current international travel restrictions and potential quarantine requirements, we are postponing the 2020 Biennale exhibition to 2021."
"The third edition will now take place in June 2021, still at Somerset House, London," Broackes continued.
"London Design Biennale’s role in facilitating and sharing international design solutions is needed now more than ever – and we are creating a new strategic initiative with Chatham House, Royal Institute of International Affairs, to provide a platform for the international design community to collaborate and exchange radical ideas. Further details of this unique and major partnership will be announced in the coming weeks," added Broackes.

"After careful consideration and working tirelessly to explore all possible options, we have decided to postpone Clerkenwell Design Week until 25 – 27 May 2021," said Clerkenwell Design Week website.
"Postponing to next year means that we can secure CDW’s future, giving us time, as an industry and as a community, to come together and deliver an even better festival in 2021."
"We are delighted to confirm that Porsche will be our Headline Sponsor (maintaining their commitment to the event as it moves to next year), we will also be introducing brand new venues and commissioning more exciting installations across EC1 than ever before," said the organisers of CDW.
