Antonio Riverso To Give A Lecture On February 12 At Bodrum Architecture Library

Architect Antonio Riverso will give a lecture on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Bodrum Architecture Library in Bodrum, a port city in Muğla Province, Turkey.
The Bodrum Architecture Library includes over 10,000 books and 20,000 documents in the fields of architecture, history, art, urbanism, archeology, engineering - founded by WAC's Founder and President Prof. Suha Ozkan, Hon F AIA. The library also hosts a series of events, workshops and lectures directed by Suha Ozkan.
Riverso's lecture is titled "Could today’s architecture and urban design become the heritage of the future?" and starts at 19:00 at the library.
Riverso brings the question of "Will contemporary architecture and urban planning inherit the future?" to the agenda by analyzing the concept of the city from historical, natural, professional and human aspects, and by analyzing the huge problems of urbanization and suggestions for solution.
The presentation will be in English.
Architect Antonio Raffaele Riverso graduated from the Politecnico di Torino in 1972. He specializes in office buildings and skyscrapers. He is a freelance architect. He taught at the University of Mediterranean and was an IAA academic at the 14th World Architecture Trineali in Sofia. He is currently honorary vice president of the International Architects Union (UIA) Architecture and Renewable Energy Resources Program (ARES).
