QS Reveals Its Annual Report For the World's Top Universities for Architecture in 2020

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the world’s leading information specialist in the higher education sector, has released its annual report ranking the top universities over 48 subjects. The tenth edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject report includes 1,368 universities, from 83 locations, assessed across 48 subjects.

According to an international survey, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ranked No. 1 in 12 subjects for 2020 including  Architecture/Built Environment category and listed No. 5 for Art and Design. 

QS releases this international survey annually, the QS World University Rankings by Subject lists the top 201 universities in Architecture/Built Environment category across the globe, based upon their academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.

In the list, the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands was ranked at number two, while UCL ranked at number three, ETH Zurich at number four and Harvard University came in the fifth.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based upon academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact. MIT leads the table for eight straight years.
