T. Oğuz Alpözen to give a lecture at Bodrum Architecture Library in Turkey

T. Oğuz Alpözen, Director of Turkey's first underwater archaeologists and Bodrum Castle Museum of Underwater Archeology, will give a lecture on October 26 at the Bodrum Architecture Library, a library including over 10,000 books and 20,000 documents in the fields of architecture, history, art, urbanism, archeology, engineering - founded by WAC's Founder and President Prof. Suha Ozkan, Hon F AIA. 

Alpözen will talk about his new book, titled "The End of Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum". Alpözen is Turkey's first underwater archaeologists. He's a knight. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by Muğla University. He has transformed the ruined Bodrum Castle into the largest Underwater Archeology Museum in the world.

In the life story of Alpözen, who is also a professional tour guide, you will visit the ruins with him, dive into sunken ships, meet the octopuses and talk to the amphora. You will be the voice and breath of old sailors. You will be surprised by the interesting events, and the inspectors who come after each other in the bureaucracy war will make you think.

The talk starts at 19:00 pm at the Bodrum Architecture Library.
