Could you be the next World Building of the Year winner at WAF 2019?

The World Architecture Festival has launched its 2019 edition for the 2019 WAF Awards and INSIDE Festival which will be held in Amsterdam on 4-6 December, 2019.

Celebrating its 12th edition this year, what makes the WAF distinguished is, only at WAF, you are judged by your peers, your heroes and the industry’s power players, all live. This is the only awards programme to offer such a rigorous and respected judging process.

Now accepting submissions under 33 categories, entries are open across Future Projects and Completed Buildings, projects of any size, type or budget have the chance to make the shortlist and go on to win a prestigious WAF trophy.

Alongside the awards programme sit keynotes and seminars across two stages, architecture city tours, an exhibition of high-end manufacturers, fringe events, parties and more. Under one roof, over three days WAF provides a global stage of extraordinary architecture.

INSIDE, the sister festival of WAF, is a feast of creativity, inspiration and knowledge for the interiors industry. The festival combines an international awards programme and conference where the interiors community come together to create global connections and celebrate the world’s finest examples of interior design.

WAF and its sister event INSIDE World Festival of Interiors will welcome more than 2,200 architects and designers to Amsterdam for three days of conference programmes, awards, exhibitions and fringe events.

WAF’s judging panel will consist of 148 architects, critics and industry professionals. Last year, WAF welcomed 48 speakers, 550 Live Finalist Presentations, 146 judges and 35 Awards Winners.
