The International Architecture Biennale in Argentina , which will take place on 12 and 13 November 2014 in the Auditorium of Orfeo Córdoba (Argentina) extended their deadline until day 18/8 deadline for application of accomplishments.

The International Architecture Biennale Argentina offers social, exhibition space and relationship-oriented exchange of ideas, experiences and opportunities for those involved in the construction of the elements that provide shelter, space and place people.

Architects, engineers, designers, entrepreneurs, industrial and institutional representatives responsible, interested in national and international architecture come together at the call of the  BIA-AR.

The uniqueness of the Biennial stowage on the one hand, its international character; the other for offering a transverse, participatory and communal space to professional, academia and business; and finally its fully contemporary format: supported and documented in the information and communication technologies, the Internet and social networks.

Probable for 2014, entitled  "Principles"  intended to focus attention on issues based on different aspects related to the development and production of architecture, cities and landscapes. It is organized into four sections, each corresponding to a theme simultaneously social and professional interest:

  • Physical and social sustainability
  • Landscape and city
  • Art, craft and industry
  • Policy craft, tradition and innovation

International keynote speakers initially planned for each of the four sections are:

  • Anne Lacaton [FR]> physical and social Sustainability
  • Kazuyo Sejima [JP]> Landscape and City
  • Dominique Perrault [FR]> Technical, Crafts and Industry
  • Francisco Mangado [ES]> Policy craft, tradition and innovation

Each of the four sections includes an exhibition, a discussion monographic publication (eBook Scalae - about), a panel discussion and a lecture. Moreover, the  BIA-AR  have a general catalog which includes both general program as selected for each of the sections materials.
