FR-EE presented our newest project: the Centro de Convenciones for Ciudad Juárez. The elliptical form serves as a statement for the further development and evolution of the border city. All materials and architectural solutions in the building have been given LEED Gold Classification.

FR-EE was commissioned by the government of Ciudad Juárez to design a Convention Center, located in the northeast of the site’s master plan. With its contemporary design, the convention center aims to serve as the instigator for the revitalization of the area. The building is the keystone to the vision: its volume, ellipsoidal form and metallic façade set the building apart, an icon to the future development and evolution of Ciudad Juárez.

The interior is designed to be as flexible as possible and will accommodate different exhibition and convention groups and their needs. The largest space, also serving as a concert hall, is designed for 5,000 people. All materials and architectural solutions in the building have achieved LEED Gold standards.
