Invitations for International Work Camps and Workshops in Palestine

An-Najah University is pleased to extend our invitation to you to join one of its International Youth Exchange Programs in Palestine, These programs have been designed to bring individuals from around the world to Palestine in order to foster relationships, exchange skills and ideas, and progress cultural exchange in an academic setting.

The Program's primary objective is to provide a common ground for education and enlightenment through a set of topics that cover major aspects of the Palestinian cause and its people. The Program also seeks to provide a space to share knowledge and expertise between international and local students.

The Camp is one of Zajel's promising projects. This year it will offer the opportunity for international volunteers to attend carefully selected lectures by remarkable educators about different fields and issues, in addition to working with Palestinian university students and peers in different fields of professionally-needed skills.

An-Najah University is announcing the following five work camps;

“Palestine is the Password”: 12th-26th April 2015

“Defy the Present”: 2nd-16th August 2015

“Shape the Future”: 1st-15th September 2015

 “The Best is yet to come”: 17th-31st December 2015

“Understanding is a Two-Way Effort”: 12th-26th April 2016

This "Experiment in International Living in Palestine" provides international youth with a unique opportunity to explore life in Palestine with new friends from around the Palestinian territories and from other countries.

Throughout the work camp's fun but challenging times, the participants will have the  opportunity to discuss and share their ideas about relevant issues across the world and Palestine, travel around important and significant parts of the country, visit historically significant sites and holy places, refugee camps and villages, in order to create a positive and real impact in our community through a variety of volunteer activities related to social development.

Living and working together, volunteers from around the world gain a better understanding of themselves, the world around them and the continuing Palestinian struggle for freedom.
