Foster + Partners, the architecture company behind HSBC’s headquarters in Canary Wharf and City Hall in London, paid its chief executive £2.2 million to step down when his job disappeared in its restructure of the management.Mouzhan Majidi, who joined the company in 1987, resigned in March this year and was handed the payout as a “severance cost”, accounts filed at Companies House showed.
