Turkey and New York-based landscape architecture firm Erdem Architects has envisioned a 'mega green-corridor' for US presidential candidate Donald Trump's plan to build a wall at the U.S. border with Mexico. In response to the competition theme, Erdem Architects developed a conceptual design that would save natural eco-system of both lands with its humanistic structure.

Named Humanistic Wall, famous landscape architecture firm led by Sunay Erdem and Günay Erdem, designs the border line as a common meeting place instead of a physical separating element, and every country from the cradle fed by 50 meters from its territory. The studio designed a long corridor with a total length of 100 meters and designed a longest park of 3.169 kilometer length on the North American continent by limiting both sides to a high earth crest.

The park will testify to the meeting of two cultures. When the first passers cross, they will be watched by the drones here and they will be detected and caught if they try to cross the second hill but studio's goal is not to reach this point.

It will be explained that the Mexicans, who are trying to leave the country for this, have a rich culture of their homeland and should not leave it. The design will be reflected.

Even though this is a difficult process, but the studio thinks that as a Turks, it is a big thing to love our homeland and we are aware of it by the citizens of every country. They state that ''We just think that it should be reminded and shown''.

The investigations revealed that the existing border wall caused considerable damage to the ecosystem of the region and the natural habitats of the animals.

In some bifurcated regions, Indian people who have performed Hajjal-like worship in an area considered sacred by the Indians can neither worship nor swap their beliefs because of the border wall. Erdem Architects' project has a solution to all these problems with its humanistic structure.
