The Architectural Society of China is proud to announce the first international edition of the Liang Sicheng Architecture Prize. The Architectural Society of China founded the Liang Sicheng Prize in 2000 to promote Chinese architecture. It is named for Professor Liang Sicheng, a Chinese architect, educator and founder of China’s modern system of architectural education.  

The Biennial Prize honours architects who have made significant contributions to the field of architecture. 2016 marks the first year in which an international jury will attribute this longstanding and prestigious award to international architects. This Prize is organized with UIA support. 

The Prize will take place in two phases. A nominating committee will establish the shortlist, from which two architects will be selected by an international jury. The winners will receive a medal and a certificate as well as the amount of RMB 100.000 ($15.000).

The documents to be sumitted can be downloaded from the official website of ASC. The languages for the procedure are Chinese and English.
