Andrés Mignucci FAIA is a Puerto Rican architect and urbanist. Mignucci studied architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1979) and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (1982). In 1980 he worked with N. John Habraken (1980), Erich Schneider Wessling (1987) and with Stephen Carr and Kevin Lynch (1983-86). Since 1988, he is principal of Andrés Mignucci Arquitectos. He is the recipient of the National Architecture Award in 2000 (Parque de los Niños) and 2001 (Escuela de Bellas Artes de Mayagüez). In 2004, his public space project, La Ventana al Mar is selected finalist in the Iberoamerican Architecture Biennale and in 2005 wins the Bronze Medal at the Miami + Beach Biennale de en el 2005. His publications include Arquitectura Dominicana 1890-1930 (1990) and Arquitectura Contemporánea en Puerto Rico 1976-1992 (1992). In 2005 Andrés Mignucci was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
