Received his first professional degree in 1990 by UAG Guadalajara. In 1994 received the Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design degree by Columbia University in New York. In 1996 co-founded the School of Architecture of ITESM Guadalajara with 4 other architects. In 2001 founded LeAP in collaboration with Heriberto Hernandez. LeAP has been published both nationally and internationally, has exhibited work in Europe, Mexico and Chile and it has positioned itself as a vanguard oriented young firm. The professional practice of LeAP covers a wide spectrum, from the micro scale of interior design to the macro scale of urban interventions.
In 2006 Raul Juarez was accepted as member in the National Academy of Architecture and is now one of its youngest members.
Raul Juarez has been actively involved in the education of architecture for 12 years now as professor of diverse desgin studios.
