Barberio Colella Architects is an architectural and research firm based in Bari, Southern Italy. They have obtained a Master’s Degree in Architectural Design in the 2014 from the Polytechnic of Bari with a thesis about the "New High Speed Railway Station of Bari" which has been awarded with a honorable mention from the prestigious "Italian Sustainable Award Fassa Bortolo". Both are currently attending a PhD course in architectural design from University of Roma Tre and Polytechnic of Bari. Their research intent and design practice is focused in finding new architectural design strategies based on sustainability and reversibility, appropriate use of materials and building technologies, tectonic innovation, romantic visions and cutting edge design.
