Fatih was born in 1981 in Foça, İzmir. He graduated from İzmir İnönü High School in 1998 and completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Architecture of METU in 2003. He completed his graduate studies in the same department by the dissertation of the thesis titled “The Architecture of New Territories: The Dutch Embassy in Berlin” in 2006. He took part in various competitions and architectural projects in Dr. Semra Teber and Semra-Özcan Uygur Architecture Offices between the years 2002 – 2004. He was a member of the organization team of 7th National Meeting of Architecture Students “Buluşma7” organized at METU on February 2003. He got the “1st Honorable Mention” award in Archiprix-TR 2003 with his graduation project “Maçka Hotel”. He has also been attending the 2nd year design studio at METU, Faculty of Architecture since 2011 fall semester. Also he participated in various architectural design studios as jury member. In addition to his architectural practice, he attends workshops and events as a member of TSMD and Mimarlar Derneği 1927.As a co-founder of FREA, Fatih continues his architectural practices with Emre Şavural in Ankara.
