DEFRANCESCO+SILVA is a studio founded by Paola De Francesco and Joao Silva in 2004 travelling from product design, interiors, retail, architecture and graphics. Their projects were world widely published in design magazines and books. Two of their objects are present in the permanent collection on the MAK museum( Applied Arts Museum in Vienna), the armchair P1 and MAK table. Their work has been exhibited in Milan, Lisbon, Paris, Stockholm, Cologne, Dubai and Istanbul.
Their office is located in Milan, in Via Solferino 11.

2017- 2° Prize WT SmartCityAward 2017- NYC aquarium & public waterfront project, Palazzo Isimbardi, Milan.
2017- Director’s choice award- International competition LHOM Last house on Mulholland-an iconic home beneath the sign- Archoutloud.
2016- 1° Prize, NYC aquarium & public waterfront, international Architectural competition -Archoutloud.
2015- Finalist international architecture competition A bridge to Parma “Ponte la Navetta” organized by the municipality of Parma, co-author
2008- 4° prize international architecture competition- Housing “Una casa per tutti” organized by Triennale di Milano
