I consider myself a constantly evolving, learning architect. I think I shall be considering
myself as a learning architect until I retire, because I believe that the profession is so
dynamic, there are developments in design process, building technology and social
makeup, that continuously push architects out of their comfort zone, if they ever get into
one. I firmly believe it is my responsibility as a design architect to always explore design
solutions, not only for my clients and their specific projects, but society as a whole.
I’ve transcended from theoretical and abstract thought, to practical and realistic
solutions, to finding a sweet spot in balancing the two. I view architecture and design as
a craft, and I constantly seek refinement of personal skills.
