Hermann Kamte is a young Cameroonian Architect, Founder of HKA | Hermann Kamte & Associates.
Hermann Kamte is The Winner of the Inaugural WAFX as First Prize Cultural Identity and Finalist of the World Architecture Festival 2017.
Born on February 20, 1992 in Yaounde | Cameroon, Hermann Kamte studied higher education at the University of Ngaoundéré in 2010 after his G.C.E.A-Levels where he started Physical Science Faculty. In 2011, he joined the prestigious EAMAU (École Africaine des Métiers de l’Architecture et de l’Urbanisme) to pursue a course in Architecture. Graduated in July 2016, Hermann decides to break with the monotony of the practice of architecture at the local level, thus opening it to the dialogue of architecture on the international level. As this, HKA emerges as a solid pole of reflection both theoretical and practical.
