Ray Hall is a qualified Architect, Planner and Interior Designer.

Based in Lewisham, he has been designing places as ‘clothes’ on communities of people for 35 years since graduating from the Architectural Association in 1973.

Through his company, appropriately called ‘People & Places’, and starting in Brixton, Ray has worked for some 400 community groups, churches, individuals and families.

The goal has always been the same: enabling a dynamic sense of belonging for individuals and communities, locally and in a city wide, national and even international context.

Ray’s proposed New Crystal Palace on the site of its forebear in Crystal Palace Park will be the climax of a lifetime’s service.

It will enable the community that is South London to have a reference venue that will enable them to take their place on the world stage.

That New Crystal Palace will be the ultimate people place.
