Ayse Hasol Erktin, served as the associate editor of Yapi, a review of culture, arts and architecture, between 1985-87. She also worked as a project architect at Has Architects Ltd. during the same period. During her stay in the USA, she obtained a masters degree in architecture with a special emphasis on the management of architecture firms and creative people. On her return to Turkey, she continued working at Has Architects Ltd. Erktin served as president of Istanbul Project Management Association {PMI Istanbul Potential Chapter} in 2000-2001 and as vice president of Harvard Alumni Club of Turkey in 1997-2002, and is currently a member of ULI {Urban Land Institute} Turkey Executive Committee.
