He was born in Germany, 1967. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in architecture from METU Faculty of Architecture in 1989. In 1993, he completed his postgraduate education in METU Faculty of Architecture. Between 1989 and 1998, Altinoz participated in several organizations and architectural companies in big scale projects. He had joined Oncuoglu Architecture in 1998, since then he has been working with Enis Oncuoglu and Onder Kaya as partners in projects in Turkey and abroad. He is specialized on the design, construction management, site supervision and coordination of the projects.
