Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto University in 1994 and gained professional experience working for Eduardo Souto de Moura.He worked in New York with Toshiko Mori and later moved to East Timor to coordinate the United Nations reconstruction program and the school design project, administered by the World Bank.Pedro Reis established his independent professional practice in Lisbon, 2003, and since then has been awarded the first prize in several architectural competitions for public and private buildings.He is currently Professor of Architectural Design at the Department of Architecture of Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.
