Nadia is an Architect and Postdoctoral Researcher in Architecture.She achieved the PhD in Architecture on february, 2013. Her research is focused on the potential of hybrid programs in shaping architecture, involving sociology and urban economy as effective design tools in advanced participatory process. Nadia works, since 2008, at the Laboratory for Landscape Construction, participating in funded research programs in the field of Architectural Design and Theory. She teaches since 2009 at University of Pavia (within the Double Degree Master Programme Pavia-Tongji) and at Politecnico di Milano. She participates in many international competitions and design workshops, with prizes and mentions in Italy and China.Tutor and coordinator in nternational design workshops at Tongji University in Shanghai, ETSAB in Barcelona, University of Pavia and Politecnico di Milano. Speaker in international conferences, author of papers and books editor, including ’Exercises in architecture. From theory to design’ (2013) and the forthcoming "Toward Expo.Activating Urban Spaces in Milan".
