Rukshan Widyalankara
Rukshan Widyalankara is a Past President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) and Past Chairman of the Architects Registration Board Sri Lanka. He has held several key posts at SLIA, and has represented Sri Lanka at many international Forums such as UIA, ARCASIA, CAA, and SAARCH. He is currently the President of Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA).He is a holder of Bachelor of Science Degree of Built Environment (1987) and a Master of Science Degree in Architecture (1991) both at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Rukshan holds a Diploma in Arbitration from the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka and is currently reading for his Doctoral Research in Arbitration in Construction Claims.Rukshan Widyalankara is the Principal Director and Chairman of Rukshan Widyalankara (Pvt) Ltd. known as RWPL, a firm of Chartered Architects, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors. His practice is involved in many buildings of note, including Hospitals, Educational establishments, Transport Terminals, and Apartments. Rukshan is a recipient of numerous awards of excellence for academic and professional work.
