Mario Arboleda was born in 1987 in Cali, Colombia. At the age of 17 he graduated from Gemelli School, in Manizales, Colombia. At that time he returned to his hometown where he pursued his studies in Architecture at San Buenaventura University. 5 years later he received his diploma as an Architect. Right away, in 2010 he moved to Pereira, Colombia, where the Mayor hired him, for the planning field as an architect-designer. He designed two modules for artisans and street sellers; it was a novelty and nowadays are still in use. 9 months later he was employed by DPS (Department for the social prosperity of the Presidency of Colombia) in Bogota, D.C, where he worked as an architect-inspector in several projects. At the same time he built his own company where he started his first project of housings in his hometown. In 2012 he began his second project for his company in Bogota, where he remodeled an apartment. After 3 months he finished the project, forthwith he started working for the Ministry of Housing, where he was in charge of several projects for national coverage. One year later he decided to move to Montreal, Canada, to improve his English, and continue his Studies. At this moment he is a candidate for a Master`s in Architecture, Urban Design and Housing at the prestigious McGill University.
