Paul Irgens
By education an architect. Have been teaching in Norway, USA and Canada.
Have been practicing in Norway,Stockholm,Madrid, Athens, Lusaka. Am a painter, first exhibition supported by the Norwegian Cultural Council, have published poetry, have read my poems with someof Norway`s foremost jazz mucicians- Am presently working on a play for Trøndelag Teater about Henry Gleditsch who was director of Trøndelag Teater until he was excecuted in1942. Most recently a c.d., "City of Glass", based on my poems, is being introduced internationally.The composer is Trond Engum, now a phd. student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.Also known from the group "The 3rd. and the Mortal", "The Soundbyte", now named "The Soundbyte/Irgens".
