The architecture we create is born out of a design process based on research, analysis, and critical thinking. Our process begins by thoroughly analyzing and understanding the site and context in which a project will be built; geographic, cultural, and economic. As we develop this analysis, we simultaneously work with our clients to clearly define and distill the building program and the budget.We strive to design well-organized, rational buildings, whose beauty lies in their clarity. There is nothing arbitrary about the architecture we create. We learn from and are well versed in the architecture of the past, but we design our buildings so that they are clearly “of their time” – reflecting the materials, technologies, needs, and cultural values of the present. We never forget that the buildings we design will house human beings who will live, work and play in the environments we create. As such there is always a human scale in our work. A key component of our design work is sustainability. We have embraced environmentally sensitive technologies and integrate “green” design in our all of work. We approach every project regardless of size or scope, with the same passion and goals in mind - to deliver compelling and elegant design solutions which provide the greatest value for our client’s investment.
