Maroun El-Daccache
Taught design studios at IUAV University, Venice (1987-1991); at the Lebanese University (1992-1993) and the Faculty of USEK (1992-1997); He joined Lebanese American University as a Full-time faculty in 1998, where he has been teaching architecture design studios at the upper & final year levels; Director of the Urban Planning Institute at LAU (2003-2006) and Chair of the Department of Architecture (since 2005); Faculty Advisory Board, Villard International PhD,IUAV Venice University (since 2007).
He started his professional activity since 1987 in Venice and established his private firm in 1993 in Beirut. His work was published in various architectures magazines and exhibited in different exhibitions. He participated in several international and regional symposiums and published a number of essays on the Mediterranean City. He also served as visiting critic in Seville, Granada, Las Palmas de Gran Canarias, Venice, Trieste, Cracow, Berlin, Tunis, and Rabat.
