Shai is the co-founder and principal of VerS, a research & design practice based between USA, Ecuador-South America, and Israel. He received a BSAT from New York Institute of Technology and a MArch from Ohio State University, Knowlton School of Architecture. Currently he teaches at Southern Illinois University, School of Architecture and heads the Digital Fabrication Lab,df_Lab@siuc)http://siucfablab.wordpress.com) , which he founded in 2006 as part of an initiative to implement a digital culture across the curriculum. The scope of his professional activities ranges from academic research, private commissions to international competitions and exhibitions.
