Obtained the Dr.-Eng. Degree from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany in 1987, currently an Associate Prof. Sanitary & Environmental Engineer at the Institute of Environmental and Water Studies of Birzeit University, Co-Founder and CEO of the Global Environmental Services Ltd. (GES-PS) in Ramallah, GES-PS offers supply and trading with water and wastewater treatment technologies, including mechanical-biological unit operations and advanced treatment systems as MBR, MBBR, NBR, RO, and other membrane-based treatment systems, performs SEA and EIA studies, offers post-treatment options for sustainable effluent reuse and stabilized biosolids recycling, GES has exclusive partnerships with regional and international supply firms, Eagle Electromechanical Engineering Dubai, references in planning, design of onsite and urban wastewater treatment facilities and effluent reuse schemes, Dr. Al-Sa`ed has practical experience in training and consultancy services to local and foreign NGOs, acted as Technical Advisor to Palestinian Water Authority and has active membership in the Joint Water Committee (JWC), as well as in local and international agencies specialized in the field of water and environment, R&D, environmental education, an accredited environmental Arbitrator, GES provides OMR services for water and sanitation facilities; references are made in Germany over 13 years in lead positions, project management and marketing, local references are made to feasibility studies
