Khalil Taleeslami, born on 09 March 1974 in Iran, is an accomplished architect, designer, and multidisciplinary creative professional with over 20 years of experience in architecture, urban design, and public-space projects. Holding a Master’s degree in Architecture from Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran, Khalil has built a diverse portfolio encompassing permanent structures, memorial elements, museums, landscape architecture, and large-scale urban developments.

Throughout his career, Khalil has demonstrated a unique blend of design excellence, innovation, and research engagement. He has designed and supervised over 1,000 residential, commercial, and office units, led the development of more than 10 parks, landscape, and villa projects, and contributed to over 800 public and governmental development initiatives. His work also includes significant research contributions, such as urban capacity assessment projects in Asadabad and Tuyserkan, and he holds several registered patents and innovative ideas, including one under commercialization.

Khalil has been widely recognized for his contributions to architecture and design. He has served as a jury member for prestigious international competitions, including the A’ Design Award & Competition (Grand Award, 2021–2025), Eurasia Architecture Challenge (2021), INSPIRELI Student Design Competition (2025), and Design Skill Awards in Poland (2025). His projects have been honored with multiple awards, such as the International Silver Medal at Corona Inventions, Turkey (2020), third place at the Qazvin Bus Terminal Architectural Competition (2021), and the national first-place award for the article competition “Old Urban Texture” in Tehran (2002).

Notable projects include leading the design of the Museum of Sacred Defense in Hamadan Province, designing and overseeing numerous private and commercial interiors, and developing innovative public memorials and urban installations. His interdisciplinary approach integrates concept development, urban design, innovation systems, and public art, with a strong focus on durable materials and sustainable, long-term urban interventions.

In academia, Khalil has contributed extensively as a faculty member and instructor at Bu-Ali Sina University and Islamic Azad University of Hamadan. He has held leadership positions including Director of Development Projects at Bu-Ali Sina University (2015–2019), where he helped the university achieve a top-10 national ranking among green universities and a world ranking of 412 in sustainability (2018). Other roles include Architectural Supervisor for the Civil Secretariat of Region 4, Head of Architecture at the Urban Planning & Documentation Center, and Technical Supervisor at Hamedan Urban Development & Improvement Organization.

Khalil has authored and co-authored publications, including the book Experience of Improvement and Renovation of Golan Neighborhood of Hamedan (2019) and papers presented at international conferences such as the 12th Banff Bridges Conference in Canada (2009).

He is proficient in a wide range of architectural and design software, including AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Inventor, Rhino (Grasshopper), Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop. Khalil combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of design strategy, urban planning, and public engagement, making him a versatile professional capable of bridging creative vision with practical implementation.
