Born in Istanbul in 1993, Necdet Bekirhan Soy graduated from Ayrancı Aysel Yücetürk Anatolian High School in Ankara. He obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art History and Architecture from Selçuk University.He earned his master’s degree with the thesis titled “Traditional Approaches in 20th and 21st Century Mosque Architecture: The Case of Ankara.” His academic and professional work focuses on the preservation of cultural heritage, architectural memory, modernism, and the reinterpretation of historical continuity within contemporary design theory and discourse.His research has been published at both national and international levels, contributing to interdisciplinary scholarship in architectural history, art history, and heritage studies.As the Founder of Neoarch Studio, he translates his scholarly expertise in art and architectural history into heritage-driven design, research, and consultancy projects. He leads initiatives from the development of creative vision and strategic planning to the coordination of design development and implementation processes.
