Ar. Vinod Singhi is the Founder and Principal Architect of BASICS Architects. An alumnus of SPA, New Delhi, and UNSW, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s in Construction Management. With over 25 years of diverse experience, Vinod brings a well-rounded perspective to design, blending Architecture with Nature.
Vinod has a nuanced understanding of balancing time, cost, and quality in the built environment. His strong grasp of construction systems ensures that design visions are effectively turned into reality. Under his leadership, BASICS Architects has received several accolades, including recognition from the Indian Institute of Interior Designers and the Delhi Architecture Festival.
A respected voice in the design community, Vinod frequently serves on juries and delivers guest lectures at leading institutions such as SPA Delhi and Vastu Kala Academy. He has been an invited speaker at industry platforms like the India Design Forum and FOAID (Festival of Architecture & Interior Design), where he shares insights on sustainable architecture and design innovation. Vinod is also an active member of professional bodies including the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID), and the Council of Architecture (COA), contributing meaningfully to the evolving architectural discourse in India and beyond.
