Architect Dr. Mohiuddin Alamgir Suprio Founder and Principal at Suprio Aongon_architectural design studio in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His works inquire the aspects of discovery vs. invention in the practice of contemporary architecture and its overlapping boundaries. Architecture as a way to explore one’s own position in the society, he believes in breaking boundaries only to find new possibilities within out of the box. He believes in the multi-disciplinary, which is a way to be good in the practice of architecture. Thus, he is a part of a larger circle where society lays its foundation for future yet to come.
Dr. Mohiuddin Alamgir Suprio achieved international award of “Global Architect Builder Awards”- (GABA) 2020. He holds the Principal Architect’s position in the practice and has been a driving force in running a 12 person’s office since 2001.Apart from profession Dr. Suprio shows his praiseworthiness in corporate social responsibility and work for the hard poor. As a researcher he stablished his foundation in 2007 by the name of “Prerona” and also found “ Prerona Institute of Design & Technology” (PIDT) an engineering College | BTEB approved | Science 2009 to devote his knowledge and idea for the mankind in educational sector. As a founder Principal Dr. Suprio involved his students in practical works and make them more professional. He passionately angered him selves in motivational lecturer and social worker. Besides his full-time practice, he is involved with the local universities and takes part in teaching as a visiting faculty.
Malty talented Architect Dr. Mohiuddin Suprio was also famous form his childhood. From primary school he involved in march-past display, cultural activities and achieved more than 50 awards. Mohiuddin Suprio attended cultural program when he stated only class three. He also involved in acting, debate, recite, folk song and painting. Dr. Suprio got trained on acting, makeup, set design and direction during his 5 years’ involvements in Group Theater.
