Gül Kozacioglu is a Turkish - Danish artist whose works span photography, video, text, painting and interactive installations. Having grown up in Denmark, Kozacioglu returned to Istanbul in 2001 to explore her Turkish roots and has since been producing her works between Istanbul and New York.

Recently, Kozacioglu moved back to her hometown of Copenhagen and exhibited her latest installation titled "I SEE YOU" in Istanbul in 2022. This project was carried out in collaboration with the Danish Cultural Institute Turkey and was supported by the Danish Ministry of Culture and Foreign Affairs.

An extensive inventory of Kozacioglu's works from 2001-2023 is available at Galeri Baraz. Kozacioglu combines multimedia installations, interactive elements, and performance elements to allow viewers to interact with her works in unique and compelling ways. Her text works, poetry, sound pieces, and neon installations are showcased and form an integral part of her practice.

With her innovative and thought-provoking art, Kozacioglu challenges and expands our understanding of identity, culture, and human connections.
