ANDRÉS MIGNUCCI FAIA {Ponce, Puerto Rico, 1957} studied architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Massachussetts Institute of Technology. His architectural training included work with N. John Habraken, Kevin Lynch and Erich Schneider-Wessling. During the past twenty years Mignucci has established a large body of work whose quality has been recognized with over twenty international, national and local awards for design excellence including the National Architecture Prize in 2001 and 2002, and awards in the IV Iberoamerican Architecture Biennale {2004} and the Miami + Beach Biennale {2005}. He is principal of Andrés Mignucci Arquitectos dedicated to the practice of architecture and urban design and is the author of Arquitectura Contemporanea en Puerto Rico {1992}. He is currently Professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture at the Polythecnic University of Puerto Rico. In 2005 Andrés Mignucci was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
