I studied Urban Design from Mumbai University and proceeded to work as a freelancer for a brief period before joining a consultancy firm for Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation. There, I worked with the design team for Line-3 and as a co-editor, photographer and graphic designer for MMRC's monthly newsletter. A consistent entry addressing the heritage and history of various localities of the western front of Mumbai was one of my major contributions to the Newsletter. Thereafter, I worked with NIUA CIDCO Smart City Lab for a brief period of time.
Currently, I am working as an assistant professor in an Architecture College in Mumbai. Alongside, my partner and I run Miraashi Media, which currently engaged in conducting heritage walks in the city. We also conducts heritage walk around Bombay in collaboration with Sahapedia (a repository for Indian history and heritage) for Architecture students, heritage enthusiasts and tourists. Driven by people and books, my fields of interest include women and queer urbanism, sociology, history, heritage art and many more.
