Robert Weitz is a founding partner at Fahrenheit Studio. As chief marketing strategist, he is an expert on the use of interactive and social media to increase brand recognition and loyalty. For the past 24 years, he has been designing and building brands, websites, and applications for clients such as EMI, Virgin Records, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and IBM.
As a designer, brand strategist, and social media pioneer, Robert has been at the forefront of the digital revolution. An early proponent of interactive multimedia, he created some of the first rich media websites using 3D and Flash animation. Later, he worked with IBM and the 5 major record labels on the historic Madison Project, which tested the digital delivery of music to a broadband audience. He also re-branded Virgin Records America, helped them establish web standards, and designed branded websites for their artists.
In 2005, Fahrenheit Studio began consulting with the financial services industry to build brands that stand out from the “gray and blue” crowd. Under Robert’s leadership, Fahrenheit Studio created comprehensive marketing strategies—including social media campaigns and funnel marketing techniques—for a variety of financial heavyweights, including John Mauldin and Navellier & Associates. As a result, these clients were able to engage consumers in a two-way conversation, establish active online communities, and generate substantial investor leads.
Robert began his career as a high-end commercial architectural designer, where he honed his 3D design and animation skills. Prior to launching Fahrenheit Studio, Robert co-founded Telos Design Group, an architecture firm that used sophisticated computer graphics to design luxury homes and post-production studios.
Robert holds a BA in classics and philosophy from Evergreen State College. From there, he went on to study architecture as a graduate student at the innovative Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
Robert is a master woodworker, an amateur chef, and an accomplished painter and photographer. He has a passion for music, and loves to make guitars as well as play them.
