The ArchiAfrika Foundation was established to put African architecture on the world map. By organising projects in collaboration with partners from Africa and the rest of the world, ArchiAfrika aims to contribute to the understanding and development of African architecture.
ArchiAfrika has organised several projects so far, amongst which three conferences: Modern Architecture in East Africa around Independence, Dar es Salaam 2005,
African Architecture Today {in cooperation with Kwame Nkrumah University}, Kumasi 2007
African Perspectives {in cooperation with Delft University of Technology} Delft 2007
