Scott Tallon Walker Architects is a design led innovative firm, which has offices in Dublin, London, Galway and Cork. It has played a distinctive role in the development of architecture in Ireland since its inception in 1928. The firm’s growth and reputation over the years has derived from our policy to produce carefully considered, well- designed buildings of a consistent high quality that contribute to the built environment.
We operated a close collaboration with our Clients in order to fully understand their requirements, and thereby procure the most appropriate, imaginative and cost effective solution. Our success over the years in this endeavour has been recognised through repeat work with major Clients and the receipt of a number of prestigious design awards including four medals by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, the Royal Gold Medal by the Royal Institute of British Architects and twelve times Highly Commended in the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland awards.
Our design philosophy is to employ the most appropriate materials and contemporary construction methods, to create high quality buildings that incorporate a balanced resolution between functionality and aesthetics.
We are committed to an architecture that involves energy and environmental awareness from the outset. Energy issues are part of our design ethos and we have for many years been at the cutting edge of “Green technology” and low energy design.
