Alberto T. Estévez {Barcelona, 1960}, Architect {Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, 1983, like youngest of all Spain with only 22 years old}, Architecture Ph.D. of Sciences {Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, 1990}, Art Historian {Universitat de Barcelona, 1994, with honours}, Art History Ph.D. of Arts {Universitat de Barcelona, 2008}. Founder in 1996 and first Director of ESARQ, the Architecture School of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona. With professional office of architecture and design in Barcelona {from 1983, with hundreds of projects}. University teacher, full professor and investigator in different national and international universities, in the knowledge areas of architectonical design, architectonical composition and art history. Developing this double teaching profile of practice {architectonical design} and theory {criticism and history}, that also take him to the creation like Director in ESARQ {UIC} of two research lines associated with two postgraduate programmes, masters and Ph.D.: The Programme Genetic Architectures Ph.D. and Biodigital Architecture Master {2000-today} and the Programme History, Architecture and Design {1998-today}. Both linking with his own thinking and doing. Also, author of 4 books, 29 chapters of books, more than 100 articles in magazines, thousands of citations in Internet, 33 presentations in congresses, 26 participation in exhibitions, etc.
