During my undergraduate education in Architecture, I built a strong foundation in spatial design, building systems, technical drawing, and design development. Throughout this period, I enhanced my analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project development skills across different scales. During both my academic studies and post-graduation internships, I observed residential structural construction processes on-site, while gaining practical experience in architectural drafting, 3D modeling, and visualization using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Revit in professional office environments. This combination of site experience and office practice enabled me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between architectural design and construction.

Fire and life safety consultancy is a multidisciplinary field that extends beyond regulatory compliance, encompassing occupant safety and overall building performance. In this role, I am involved in evaluating architectural projects from a fire safety perspective, identifying potential risks, and ensuring that design solutions comply with both national and international regulations and standards. As a Fire and Life Safety Consultant at Etik Teknik, I provide consultancy services for large-scale residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments in Türkiye and internationally, working in accordance with the Turkish Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings (BYKHY), NFPA standards, and other applicable national and international codes. My responsibilities include reviewing architectural designs for code compliance, identifying required design revisions, preparing fire safety reports, and developing project-specific compliance checklists. I also work closely with architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination and participate in the evaluation of fire scenarios through detailed project documentation.

These experiences have enabled me to integrate fire safety principles into architectural design decision-making. I have developed strong competencies in technical reporting, architectural drawing review, coordinating office and site activities, and conducting comparative analyses of international building regulations and fire codes. Working with internationally recognized standards has further strengthened my analytical thinking, technical judgment, and problem-solving abilities.

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Architecture, where I aim to deepen my technical expertise through academic research while further advancing my professional practice. My goal is to contribute to and grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment where I can combine my technical background with design-oriented architectural practice, while continuously learning and developing as an architect.
