In 2014, Victor Rojas, director of architecture and Alonso Hernández, director of Engineering, both partners and co-founders of VA Studio previously known as AGV Design Group, walked together in the professional career for several years and decided to establish their own consulting firm.


Since then, VA Studio has become a practice with the aim of exploring the relationship with the natural environment through the tropical architecture.


Dedicated to the architectural and structural design, the studio was founded on the belief that designs must connect with their landscape and arrive at a truly sustainable design. The architects and engineers of VA Studio build up an interdisciplinary team, where experience and teamwork are combined, always discovering new design solutions to develop each project.


We focus on the development of infrastructure mainly in the area of Playa Guiones, Nosara, Guanacaste, where we have developed several residences, hotels and commercial projects among others.
