Omara is an award-winning Architect, Designer, and BIM Manager with global experience especially in North Africa and the Middle East. Graduated in 2008 from Ain Shams University, Egypt with a cross-culture design studio from Clemson University, USA. Today, his name is engraved within many of the region successful Architectural works in addition to being shortlisted for the “Young Architect of the Year 2015 & 2016” and nominated as “Architect of the Year 2019” over the Middle East region, winning many awards & honours nationally and internationally. Recently, he won the WAFx 2018 “Ethics & Value” for Sheltainer Project and Middle East Architect Awards Concept design of the year 2018. Professionally, he has worked intensely for both the public and private sectors on a wide range of projects such as aviation and transportation, military, hospitality and leisure, health and educational, cultural, residential, sports facilities, civic institutions, office buildings, religious, commercial, and master plans. Philosophically, his work encompasses a diverse selection of projects that reflect his vision of creativity, sustainability, and limitless potential. Omara’s commitment to enhancing urban communities and reinterpreting the basic human needs has always been the motivator behind his rigorous explorations and Architecture development. His passion for spreading knowledge and teaching architecture is a moral duty where he has conducted professional speeches in various summits, conferences, and universities. Lately, he has been selected as Chair of the judges at WAF 2019 for the Engineering Prize Category.
